Growing up and the consequences

Itz really hard to think about growing up,starting to work and living away from your family members most especially when you grew up in a closely-knit family like mine.....I'm in my final year @ d university nd d oda day,i went home nd my mum was like,so Leye..you would graduate soon,serve nd start working nd i wnt b seeing u as often as before nd den u'll get married nd believe me,she was really sad wen she said dat nd i really started to think,growing up is fun but believe me,it comes with a price nd lots of consequences too...like missing ur family members and your childhood friends.....Yours sincerely,Omoteniola.

I got my master's from CAMBRIDGE and I got mine from O.A.U, please tell me...what's the difference?

The other day I stumbled on a post on twitter, a friend of mine Badmus Opeyemi had tweeted "master's from abroad or not, we're all gonna end up in entry level whenever we get a job". That got me thinking really hard cos I have this close friend who had gone to London to get his master's degree and fast-forward a year after, I have no master's I'm now working but he's still job-hunting and he says it's likely he goes back for his Ph.D cos d master's doesn't seem to be bringing forth anything. The problem with Nigeria is not that they have no graduates to fill the positions in the numerous organizations and companies we have, the problem is that the employers do not want to employ those who they feel they'll av 2 pay higher salaries cos they are UK or U.S returnees. Shattered Beyond Repair (Episode 1)

Tomilola sat down in the single room apartment where she lived with her mum. Her father had left when she was five; he just packed up and left with his belongings one day. There had been no quarrels, no exchange of words between her parents but he left them and they never heard from him again. She had just woken up from sleep and was just sitting there wondering where her mum could have gone. It was about 3pm in the afternoon and she was beginning to get hungry.
