Growing up and the consequences

Itz really hard to think about growing up,starting to work and living away from your family members most especially when you grew up in a closely-knit family like mine.....I'm in my final year @ d university nd d oda day,i went home nd my mum was like,so Leye..you would graduate soon,serve nd start working nd i wnt b seeing u as often as before nd den u'll get married nd believe me,she was really sad wen she said dat nd i really started to think,growing up is fun but believe me,it comes with a price nd lots of consequences too...like missing ur family members and your childhood friends.....Yours sincerely,Omoteniola.

Tomilola sat down in the single room apartment where she lived with her mum. Her father had left when she was five; he just packed up and left with his belongings one day. There had been no quarrels, no exchange of words between her parents but he left them and they never heard from him again.   The last time Sheila ever felt loved—intense, soul-wrenching, heart-thumping love was in the period between 2007 – 2011. She was just 19 and he was 21. He didn’t have money to give her and she didn’t even want money, she wanted just him—and he did love her. It was obvious in the way he treated her. In the way he looked at her.
